5. Many organizations and individuals are offering Croatian language courses today, some of them even free. What makes your approach different?

Many of my students tried other programs before coming to me – but only here did they experience the moment when Croatian truly "clicked." What makes my approach different is the combination of clear structure, patient guidance, and genuine dedication to your progress.

We build strong grammatical foundations that gradually develop into real conversations, reading, and writing. Lessons are carefully structured yet dynamic and engaging – I combine explanations, interactive activities, stories, and topics that naturally incorporate Croatian culture, history, and everyday life.

I pay special attention to ensuring that you feel:

  • Relaxed and safe to ask questions

  • Supported at your own learning pace

  • Motivated to progress

  • Confident in real-life communication situations.

Students often highlight that through this approach, they:

  • Better understand everyday conversations

  • Feel comfortable communicating with family and their community

  • Connect more deeply with Croatian culture and its roots

  • Notice real, measurable progress.

I work individually and in small groups, which allows me to fully adapt to your goals – whether you are learning for personal growth, family reasons, or preparation for a permanent residence test.

For me, this is not just about teaching a language; it's about fostering a deeper understanding of the world. It is about creating a space where you learn with understanding, confidence, and the feeling that someone is genuinely cheering for your success.

6. What does the Strategic Goal Planning session look like?

If you have a goal that is important to you but are unsure how to turn it into a concrete and achievable plan, this session provides clarity, structure, and direction.

The process begins with an introductory conversation where we discuss your needs, motivation, and the goal you want to achieve. I want to understand the bigger picture – where you are now, what drives you, and what may be holding you back. Based on this, we personalize the session and assess the scope of work required.

The session itself is structured yet relaxed. You lead the conversation, and I guide you through thoughtful questions and strategic tools. Together we:

  • Clearly define the goal

  • Break it down into concrete steps and activities

  • Identify necessary resources

  • Conduct a SWOT analysis (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats)

  • Set realistic deadlines and measurable progress indicators

The result is not just an idea – but a clear, operational plan you can begin implementing immediately.

A special part of the process is creating your visual map. It becomes your personal compass – a motivational tool and a constant reminder of what you want to achieve and how you will get there. At that moment, the goal stops being abstract and becomes tangible – truly yours.

Additionally, you receive practical tools and resources that you can utilize in future planning, allowing you to strategically set and achieve new goals independently. This is not just planning one goal. It is developing a skill that stays with you long-term.

7. What does the Workplace Transition Support session look like?

A job interview is often one of the most stressful professional moments. The stakes are high – you are presenting yourself, your knowledge, and your experience, and the outcome can affect both your professional and personal life. It's not unusual to feel overwhelmed or uncertain.

That's exactly why the goal of this session is to transform the interview from an intimidating experience into a situation where you feel prepared, grounded, and confident.

Through realistic interview simulations, we work through concrete scenarios. I take on the role of the employer, and you, the candidate – then we switch roles so you can better understand the perspective of the interview panel. In this way, you build confidence, understand "what lies behind the questions," and learn how to stay composed even in challenging situations.

Together, we:

  • Identify your communication strengths,

  • Detect the blocks that prevent you from truly shining,

  • Practice clear, structured, and persuasive answers,

  • Work on nonverbal communication and the impression you leave.

In addition, we refine your cover letter and create materials you'll be able to use independently in future professional presentations. For those who want additional support, we also develop your personal elevator pitch – a short, powerful, and authentic professional introduction you can "keep in your pocket" for any opportunity.

This is not just preparation for one interview. It is an investment in your long-term professional confidence.

8. What is a Newcomer Support Program Development all about?

This service is designed for public and civic organizations that want to develop and implement sustainable programs for newcomers. The support includes:

  • Defining problems, opportunities, goals and desired outcomes

  • Mapping the system your organization works within

  • Identifying target group and the real needs of the community

  • Analyzing strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats (SWOT)

  • Seeking partners

  • Designing success indicators

  • Creating evaluation methods

  • Developing a sustainability plan.

In other words, we turn your organization's idea into a clear, implementable, and financially sustainable project.

What makes this support special is my 20 years of project management and innovation in numerous non-profit organizations. I have led small teams with minimal budgets and large projects with multi-million dollar budgets. I have worked in times of growth, but mostly in times of crisis. I have developed programs that became examples of best practice and foundations for further organizational development.
